Talented Artist Needed
Note - This isn't really the proper place to be posting this, but I wanted as many people to read this as possible.
The Abandoned Times, our magazine project, needs an artist to create a little bit of artwork for our logo. What we're looking for is a journalist version of the Abandonia mascot. It doesn't need to be anything in particular other than that. It should, however, be colorful, creative, and high quality. Some ideas that have been passed around already include having the mascot with a fedora style hat on and reading our magazine, for example. Here are some examples of fedora hats;    |

I don't remember the old mascot well, but if you could find a pic I could give it a try

How are you going to put a hat on that thing? Looks more like a hat rack.

you mean you never put a hat on a hat rack before? :cheesy:
Anyway, I've got the logo done, ready to be shaped and colored in any way you like (.PSD available if needed). I actually have to go to work now, so the hat goes on later

It's probably going to be quite tricky making the hat look right on the mascot. I'm no artist, but, I was thinking of giving the mascot some real eyes like in the Abandonia Reloaded version.
It would be best if it were facing to the right. The newspaper that the mascot is reading should be open. The more shadowing, texture, and detail there is in the image, the better. Feel free to experiment though, like I said I'm no artist.  |
