Default world of xeen

World of xeen has been one of my all time favorites, and when I saw that you had it, I was definitely stoked. There's only one problem, the game crashes when I press ESC after talking to the priests or tavern keepers. I'm running the game under openSuse 10.3 under a dosbox which works pretty damn good. I've tried running the dos box under windows with no luck. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem are welcome. I haven't played this game in years and am suffering withdrawl symptoms.

Open DOSBox.conf, change Core setting to Normal and MPU-401 emulation to None. See if that helps.
