I'm trying to start up Worms United through DosBox, but it just won't work.
It tries to get it running, but I get "Please insert the Worms United CD in the CD drive". Which is a bit irritating because it's already in the drive.. And trying to get Blood to work is also interesting. It does start, but it is so incredably slow that i can't even navigate the menu :P |

i've always found worms united and reinforcements didn't play in dosbox, only in normal windows xp. blood always worked perfect in win xp as well using this guide.
anyway, it's possible to run worms without the cd just by editing the batch file. here's what a few lines in my worms.bat look like now and it loads fine without the cd. Quote:

2. Increase cycles 3. Resolution to 640x480 4. Increase frameskip If all fails, just wait for public release of DosBox 0.66 to come out. Major performance improvement in it. |
