I bought the GOTY edition of Morrowind a great while ago, and have slowly but surely been working my way into the game. I'm now at a point where I'm considering going to Solstheim for the first time. And then it dawned on me that I once read a review of Bloodmoon where they said that you can't become a werewolf if you've already been cured of corprus disease (as part of Morrowind's main quest). Sadly I've already been cured of corprus...

Can anybody confirm or deny this? Do I have to load an old game? There's no way I'm just gonna keep playing if it means I miss out on being a werewolf.

BTW, is it just me or are there far too few werewolf games out there? The only decent one I remember playing was Gabriel Knight 2 (which wasn't just decent, but brilliant).

Edit: I almost forgot; I did try google before coming here. Just so you know.

AFAIK you can still become a werewolf, just follow the main storyline. If not there is surely some mod or console command that enables it.

When you heal yourself of Corpus, following the main storyline will earn you a special ring that allows you to turn into a werewolf at wish. Don't get caught transforming though.

That's not entirely correct, at least, not in the Morrowind I know.
When you get cured of Corpus, following the main Morrowind storyline, you'd become immune to deseases, effectively blocking at least the path to vampirism...
I do believe you can still contract Lycantrophy following the main Bloodmoon quest. And at the end of that storyline, you'll get the ring in question.

Of course you propably just misspoke...

So I can't become a vampire? Oh well, I guess a vampire/werewolf/reborn-semigod is a bit over the top anyway.
