Anubus how is that trolling exactly? To me it looks like what happened is Tai is explaining her view point on the situation, I seriously don't see how it's attacking.

Productive in the sense of working hard for AB and AR perhaps? :whistle:

I kind dislike these 'personal' issues being discussed via PM. Somehow it's not right and makes site look nice, while everything might be rotten. (is that correct word) However, I would like to hear from you what you know about this, and what your opinion is.

Why are we having such a discussion in the first place? The reason why I like it here (both of the sites) is because of the professionalism of the crew, their ability to make good decision. Looking at threads like those make me raise a few questions about if it's still the case.

There is no need to have a flame war or a war at all. There is not even a need to talk about it. Thread should be closed right away in fact, since the question been answered months ago and even if we talk about it it's not going to change.

People simply need to understand what is going on, then decide themselves if they like AB or AR, or both. I myself always will prefer AB, because that's what I'm here for: old DOS games. I could not care much for freewares, and I'm sure that the AR crew noticed that easily. Furthermore, games on AR are really centered on Adventure games, the genre I like the less in all kind of gaming counfounded. However, this doesn't stop me from visiting the AR board every few days, especially the ADOM thread which is one of the biggest and most usefull ADOM thread ever created.

I post at bolth, and I don't really think merging bolth would be a good idea...even though they are sort of the same, they're bolth really different, and like Tai said, different paced.
EX: AB has like 4 or 5 active topics, in just 3xBlah alone, at AR on average there are more like 2...but they are 4 or 5 pages long, because people tend to focus on them.
I don't really think theres much hostility between the two, there may be a little everynow and then, and then a good ammount when topic such as this (not pointing any fingers just using it as in example) come along. Personally I think its rather silly to get all worked up and say the sites should be merged and we each hate each other just because of what happened to Tiki (dunno what, and to be honest I don't really care, not tryin to be mean to Tiki or anything, hes a nice guy, but this whole topic has pretty much descended into what happened, whatever it may be).

No, that would be an extremely bad idea!

AR has a completely different feel to it (as you said). Some prefer that, some prefer AB (for me, AB forum is still not active enough). So putting both together would really be like locking grown up relatives together for good. They may like eachother (or hate eachother), but when they feel like it, they'll visit one another. Have to send all the time together would certainly make them all go GA-GA.
