I still use Mozilla (the latest version, I think) to navigate on the web and it works so good that I don't wanna change it... but I have a problem with a site that is able to avoid the pop-up killer (a stupid security-software-site :ranting: ) and it open himself when I'm on a photo sharing site (Ringo)
The question is: how can I prevent the stupid site to open? I haven't found a function in the preferences of Mozilla (it has just the generic pop-up killer and the cookies killer), so maybe there is a plug-in or a program which make just that...
Perhaps I should try the Sea Monkey browser...

if you are looking to change browsers, i would recommend Opera as it is now compatable with all sites and has excellent pop up blocking features. I don't use Firefox so I'm afraid I cannot tell you exactly haw to block a site from opening...

There is a little update for Mozilla, but they are developing it no more... is because of that I mentioned the "Sea Monkey" browser, which is the "spiritual heir" of Mozilla.
I googled around a bit but I've found only some "parental filters" which are able to block sites you specify, but even those in the "black list"... I don't like to loose a bit of freedom...

I'm afraid you have to change your browser. Mozilla Firefox does all the work.

Please let's not argue about what browser is the best. Pleez... :tai:

No, no, no!
I don't wanna start a flaming war about that...

I'll just try Sea Monkey, no matter if it's not the best browser!

I know a site that always open a popup on FF, but I can live with 1 popup personally. That and I love firefox to bits in every other sense...

That and Win98, Mozilla and Firefox are more or less interchangable names... they mean the same thing...
