Over 8 years in the making, the sequel to one of the controversial games is finally being released. Funnily enough, Russians will have it first on Steam around 23rd in this month, followed by, off all the people in the world, Germany in 10th December and rest of the world sometimes after that.

From the looks of it, its in third person, uses Source engine and they're apparently including stuff like different paths, moral choices and many more. You can also shoot Uwe Boll in it.

Personally, Im a bit curious. Postal 2 is generally a crappy game, but its interesting kind of crap. This time it looks like they're actually trying to make it into a interesting game too rather than just being as controversial as they can get.

Postal was a lot of fun, as was 2. Both were not good games...just okay, 2 was barely okay. But the sense of fun and enjoyment filled them both so Postal 3 could be the greatest worst game ever and I would still get a copy on the cheap just to say I own it.

Hopefully it is better then that though and is actually worth paying money for.

It's published by a Russian publisher, I don't see anything strange in it being released first there.

Good news. The first one wasn't that great, but the second part was hilarious. Kind of a 30min per day anti-stress game. Nothing like a good-ol' shovel in the head ingame when you get pissed off at your boss/teacher/parents/girlfriend in RL.

While running with scissors may actually be lots of fun, I still haven't played any Postal game. I understand the fun people may get out of it, mostly because of the offending stuff happening in the game, but it never appealed to me that much to justify buying it.
