Well, my curiosity got the better of me. So, I grabbed a retail copy of Turok at Amazon for $8.
The only difference I can find between the retail version & Abandonia's is 5 bytes in Turock.exe At x10FC3 Abandonia has x9090909090 and the retail exe has xE89831FFFF This seems to be both a "no cd" and a "no music" patch. So, if you zap these bytes in the Abandonia exe, download the cd image from the cellar and mount it with something like Virtual CloneDrive you can play the game WITH MUSIC! WooT!! |
