Every season (easter, halloween, christmas.... and so on) users can send in effects they have made. Effects that are connected to the site and the season. Like the Abandonia logo with lots of bats and pumpkins for Halloween.

The effects could be anything on the main site.

People send in their work by mail to the admins, who then choose the winner. Of course we should have gifts for the winner and runner ups.

Then when the choice has been made. A topic is made profiling the winner and runnerups, and all the other images. Of course complete with name of the creator.

What do you guys think?

hi @ all.

this is my contribution for the new year-header...
in the righthand part i've worked with stroggy's approach of using the space invaders,
for it's great idea. but i've done it using an alternative font which i think is more
suitable...

i split the image, otherwise it wouldn't fit the post....
