Command & Conquor as well as, Far Cry, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Ghost Recon og Rayman Raving Rabbids Has now become free for anyone to download according to norwegian websites, will these games be added as abandonware or are they to recent for abandonia? maybe not C&C, but the others maybe?

Ummm I didn't spot G.R there as free to d/l. Are you sure it's free?

yah Ghost Recoon, Prince of Persia: Sands of time, Rayman Raving Rabbids - they are available and released by UbiSoft.

but the download is ad-supported and you have to live in USA to be able to download them. which kind of stinks... but ok, there is a way arround...

they are only free because they have advertisement in it, which companies pay the publishers, which then they release for free.... the games riddles with adverts from sites. and more games will follow soon.

The ads aren't too bad, they mostly appear within loading and saving screens, it could be worse and yeah more and more games are doing in via in game advertising not like this method, again mostly because gaming costs keep going and going up, also I believe the downloads have been taken down for the immediate future (not referring to the gamershell link) since ubisoft is cracking down and ensuring that only U.S users get the game (and also because of some other issues)
