"Crystal Skull" also sounds to me like "Temple of Doom", but ToD was the least serious of the Indy movies, it's as good as pulp adventure gets and it's good (specially the beginning ), but still I like Lost Ark and Last Crusade more, they're more epic and engaging.

ToD scared the hell out of me when I was little. HE RIPS A HEART OUT OF A LIVING MAN for god's sake LOL

Then again, the Nazi facemelt in Lost Ark was pretty horrific too. See, who needs CGI?!

CGI is 90 per cent of the time for losers that don't know how to make or can't afford the real deal. In most cases it doesn't look real by far unless looked from a pretty great distance. :P

Maybe people consider ToD lees serious because more people know about the Lost Ark and Holy Grail then some legends of inland India (not even sure if ToD used any acctualy miths or not).

But it's not only that, it's the style of the movie, how seriously you take the bad guys, etc. At least that's the way it seems to me.

Viggo Mortensen, or Hugh Jackman would make a good Indy. Can't think of anyone else except Ford of course,.. but age has caught up. Sill like Ark the best! k:

I'd agree with Dennis if they were trying to replace Ford with another actor to play Indy. But Ford is in there and I guess they are looking for somebody who'd be the next adventure explorer (not Indy). I'd suggest Tia Carrere. she already played the role of Sydniana Jones LOL
