The best thing you can do, is get a game genre that you do not like. And then PLAY IT. Force yourself to beat it NO MATTER WHAT. That way, you will experience something new even while you are bored.

I don't know that's going really desperate there, I doubt even if I was that desperate I'm going to pick up a puzzle game and start playing, I just can't see myself doing that.

But then again it could work, got me more into rpg's when I wasn't a big fan. k:

There is only one person I do not understand when it comes to gaming: my Brother. He will play a game until he is either 150% done with it, or will play until the last boss and quit.

I have maybe finished a total of 20 games in my entire life. Now, I may have played over 1000. Not very nice feeling, is it?

Get a really bad game, but one that reminds you of a really good one. You will get a hankering to play the good one, and viola!
Although I have gone through a few gaming slumps in my time, I can honestly say that I have never had a hankering to play the viola.

LOL FPJ you are the King

Did anyone ever kill the big guy in Fallout 2 with your toe? I know I did.

The games that have the best replayability are the ones that are RTS, because there was no Linear side in the first place.

Yeah I went through one of these, and partially still am. Thing is unlike everyone else mine hasn't gone away in a week, in the early part of the year I went about 5 maybe 6 months without playing one computer game and I was very content, but then I got bored one day and I didn't have any money so I searched around the internet for gobliiins and ended up here and been here ever since. Then there was the stage I played abandonware for about 2 months then stopped that went off computer games again for 2 months then played battlefront and UT2004 till about a month ago and don't play many games now.

Lizard: I think you mean Oracle of Ages, I have Oracles of Ages, I'm sure I beat the last boss, but I know I never tried the link thing with Seasons. I have Oracle of Seasons, and Links Past DX or whatever it is called, and I also have Four Swords, but am yet to get Minish Cap I hear it isn't as good.
