I've noticed recently that a few games and files, that used to work fine in the past...aren't working anymore.

It didn't happen all at once, i just gradually noticed, at first i didn't care, since i stopped playing with the games.

But i'll cut to the chase.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

How do i fix this problem? Is it compatibility issues? Virus?

=\

Best thing you can do when you start getting these errors is to reinstall windows, but before you do that scan for viruses!

There can be any number of reasons.

Corrupted windows might be one, virus another. Also if you installed a driver recently might be the culprit. There is always the chance that the hard drive is failing.

So, update your antivirus program and check the disk. Run any anti spyware program (like ad-aware). If you have installed a driver recently just tell us. Run a full checkdisk (the one requiring a reboot).

Easy fix: I'd try to reinstall the program first of all and see if it solve the problem.

Yeah ME can be very buggy, it's best if you stick with 98 or XP.
