Hi again!
After snooping around far and wide on the internet, I managed to solve the problem. Apparently you can't (at least I couldn't) save unless the game is anywere else than the c: drive. So no d: and no floppys, ok

I keep ending up at the execution scene, having SPOILERS:

eaten my last meal and had my amnesia cured. Is there any way to get out of it?

Wow, Just wow. I never thought I'd see this game again. I found it once when digging through my dad's old backup floppies, but lost it again some time later without ever finishing it. J00 all r0x0r = :tnx:

I've read amnesia.doc, but I still don't understand that whole x-street indicator thing. I always get killed on the street! Is there a crack to be found?

I need walkthrough! I need it! I can't do anything, i just keep dying in the first couple of minutes. I can't seem to find a wakthrough either. The .doc presented with the game is useless in the first part of the game. I can't get out of the hotel. I either get amrried and die on a farm or get killed. HEEEELP!! :help: :help:

i was lookin for some old games and i found this text based adventure. GREAT..

i installed it c:\amnesia
it runs perfectly

some questions before i start.

how can you save?
is there a way out of this above described problematic situation?

No, you are at a dead end. An earlier decision was "wrong" (nothing is really wrong - there are multiple endings like in real life but you would miss much of the story ending with that scene).
