Thumbs up

So not everything is lost, thankfully.

replacementdocs.com has a lot of manuals that came from HOTU, or in some cases, even better copies.

Default Rip

HotU was, perhaps, the second abandonware site I knew, and since that moment it became the first thing I though about when abandonware was mentioned. Only in the last years this shifted in favor of Abandonia .

It is sad to see HotU get down like this... (I don't know if the last phrase has sense) It will be remembered...

As for the conservation effort, I think I still have some reviews and downloads, although I lost a lot of them when some of my old back-up cds where left in an innapropriate place... (yep, my stupid fault...). If this project gets online, please send a link.

Good bye HotU, you will be remembered...

I thought something was up when I googled HOTU and nothing came up... at least now there are some RIP HOTU sites at the top of pagerank. I don't know what's worse... that a part of me died, or that i almost didn't notice.

a true shame. i remember the place well. I do hope something rises though, be it another abandonware site or just a reviews site.

My first post on Abandonia. Seems fitting that it is in commemoration of an earlier Abandonware site. The king is dead. Long live the king.

Default R.i.p.

It's a pity that Home Of The Underdogs had to cease its activity because of low funds. There will always be a place in our memories for such a great abandonware place.
