When you use Windows XP, you can turn on the file endings to be shown in Windows Explorer: start it, click on EXTRAS - FOLDEROPTIONS, then on view tab. There turn off the "blend out the extensions of the known file types"-option. That should allow you to see the file extensions.

*giggles* You haven't heard of Total Commander? How about Windows Commander?
TC is the better version of WC (LOL) Anyway, both are(much) better than explorer(wich sucz in my opinion) Also they are much easier to use |

Well, I only knew Norton Commader until now, which is similar to Windows Explorer, just in Ms-Dos. Great thing even now for playing old games in Dos-prompt or look after something in Dos interface.
