Fortunately Ford's sons are around 40 years old.

Of course I don't think a 20 year old would be good for this, as Play said Quaid isn't younger either and I knew that. Quaid is like Ford when he filmed Lost Ark, even older maybe dunno. Of course Indy should be someone around 40 and not younger, he's supposed to be a doctor and a professor. But I don't think he should be much older either. Would it have been credible or cool in Last Crusade that Indy's dad did the same things as Indy, jumping, punching, running, climbing etc.? No Indy did Indy's stuff and Indy's dad did fogeyish stuff, that's what makes Connery's character and his tandem with Ford memorable. Anyway I'm talking about the character's age, the actor can be as old as he wants if he manages to look like 40. Ford is starting to look quite venerable, but I guess that he can do at least for this fourth installment.

Anyway I don't like this sidekick idea. Now this LaBeouff will be characterized as someone just as kickass as Indy only younger. It's much better the classical tandem hero + girl, hero + father, there's dialogue between the characters, not just the "now it's my turn to be 133t and impress you" that will surely LaBeouff be about.

About Willis, I think the first movie is very good and better than the third one IMO, I haven't seen the fourth yet. One of the things that differentiate Die Hard from other action movies, the key thing I'd say that sets it apart and makes it better, is that Willis plays an ordinary man forced to be a hero, he's in pain all the time, he's not Schwarzenegger. In the third one they fell somewhat for Willis's fame and it was more like "the bad guys can't touch me I'm level 20", not cool. Willis was awesome in the first movies, he doesn't grin like that any more and that grin was McLane's main trait.

Meh, If Stallone can be pumped full of creepy hormones and steroids an play Rocky Balboa yet again, then as far as I'm concerned Harrison Ford can be kept in suspended animation and just thawed out whenever we need him for Indy duties

On the topic of Bruce willis, I still believe that the finest role i've seen him in was Korben Dallas from The Fifth Element.

That movie was weird, but not bad. I still think Willis was best in Die Hard 2. That trademark grin was cool, Japofran is right.

The fifth element looked great and had a great setting at the start but to the end I was somewhat disappointed by the plot and whatnot.

What's with all the the labeouf bashing?
He's only been in 2 films I've heard of, and I've only seen one which I'm not really going to count toward rating his skill as an actor because it was transformers.
Remember when brad and keanu were spoken in the same breath?
Now Brad is cool!
He could be ok, if the film does the right thing and doesn't make him a badddddass.
If I were you I'd be less judgemental of the Beef and more concerned about the real problem...

Thing is though, every time I see a photo from the film set, George Lucas is in it, which really does not bode well.[/b]
