Alright. So what happen when you try to unarchive it?

Don't think I'm trying to dummy you, but I'm actually trying to understand which point of the process is not working. My first question might seem extremely stupid, but you know we meet a lot of newbies here...

That's fine. As long as you can help, I'm good with it.

Truly, though, I understand this must be a process of elimination, especially with me knowing so little about how it all works.

So, to answer your question, nothing happens except what should happen. They become unarchived and all the files are shown. I get PL, CFD, CMI, CMP, EXE, CPF, FNT, etc. files.

Try to run the files with the .exe endings. Also be sure to run them in DosBox, which you can get off this site. It isn't that good idea to play the game under Windows XP, but if you have Windows 95 or 98, it's possible.

Thought I could get away with that. Unfortunately, I only have XP, so it'll have to do. I'll try the DL of DosBox now.

Thanks.

Hello Fellas, now I'm a part of this great community! And I have a little question, Blood is a little slow on my computer and I would like to know: why?

P.S.: The CPU cycle and Framskip is both very high by me.

You probably don't have a very fast computer then. Blood is a relatively new game and it will require a very powerfull computer to get a decent emulation going.

my 'no warranty for explosions' guide to getting blood running right on xp

also for dosbox users, the dos32a to replace dos4gw is worthwhile for the speedup
