Everyone knows how good are the lotr movies, and how good is music in them.

So I was wondering does anybody knows where to find good soundtracks from two towers and the return of the king. But not some crappy ones, I need the good ones. :help: :help: :help:

You can bet you can purchase a CD of the music of the LotR movie, so helping you get what you are asking is extremely illegal. Anyone trying to help you on this forum will get their post erased on sight.

And let's not even talk about copyright... Not the same thing for music than for abw games at all!

I know that is not same for abandonware and for music, but I found on site that goes something (...lycos...)soundtracks for the first movie and site is big and seems that they are having no problems puting it for free download.

There's plenty of lord of the rings soundtrack cds on ebay at the moment some for quite good prices (certainly much less than the price I paid in the shops when they first came out!).

They shouldn't be able to unless they have made some agreement with the copyright owners.

I can't see Time Warner giving up the chance to make a profit. Sorry, but it probably is illegal.

Is MP3 illegal?

That depends.

If it is released by the record company or copyright owner then it's legal, but most mp3s on the internet are illegal copies. Copyright law does not allow you to make any copies of any music, without the publisher's permission, unless it is for private, personal use.

I hate it but it is the law. :not_ok: :not_ok: :not_ok:

Well, I might be going a bit , but few weeks ago, the Icelandic police arrested few guys who were sharing a lot on oDC and DC++. And they closed down the icelandic hubs. So yeah, downloading mp3's is in most cases illegal <_<

I used to have the soundtracks from the first and second part of LOTR, but somebody stole it from me :ranting:

As long as it is not a mp3 you ripped yourself from one of your own CD you already own and it's copyrighted, it's always illegal.

Funny to see that it takes an example like you talked about for people to realise it's against the law...

There was a court case in the UK about a month ago where an ISP were forced to hand over names and addresses of ten internet users suspected of sharing music through Kazaa and similar programs.

It's worrying cause it means you are no longer anonymous when you are online (if you ever were!). :not_ok:
