I challenge you to... an egg duel! First one to make a boiled egg wins!
*Hopes you'll go for a hardboiled egg while I go for a softboiled one*

i can cook. curries, pastas, bolonaises, lasange, roast meals (pretty easy really)
most things really. im not so good with pastries though. having worked as a chef before kind of helps though.

@kearnsy = if you want to open a resteraunt you better hope you have a few years cooking experiance down, otherwise the chefs wont respect you, and will possibly spit at you (or in your food) remeber to get a firm but fair head chef, and be aware that kitchens you are a lot more likely to have staff get into huffs and march out than pretty much any occupation. but the markup is fantastic. you can make a lot of money. its a tougth game though. what type of resteraunt you thinking of opening?

Ah, that explains why I couldn't find it on here. Sorry about that.

Enchilladas are my speciality, and my housemate and I sometimes whip up a mean omlette; I can follow a recipe generally but I'm not good at getting several things to be ready at the same time, so 1 or 2 dishes tends to be more successful for me.

Coocking is easy. It's the eating of the stuff I prepare that's hard

Well actually I'm quite good around the kitchen - can prepare almost anything.

I can make a bowl of cereal, a pb+j sandwich and a burnt omelette which makes you choke and die after you eat it. LOL

I used to work a lot at grill in one restauran, and to do some other stuff while I worked as cook. No one complained, so I guess all of the stuff was eatable.

But as my wife is much better at cooking then I am, I don't cook any more.

Hmm I make a good pasta bake thing with loads of herbs, I can do mince + pasta. Shepherd's pie if I can really be arsed with all of the effort.

Beans on toast... cheese on toast (canadian style, with marmite under the cheese!), cereal.

Hmm... I can make bread I suppose. I once tried making a danish pastry.

Uhmm... swiss roll (home made).

Not much, really, but I could survive on my own cooking.

I think that if I try to make a pie or anything, the dish would end up being used for fuel or snake repelent. Nothing out of the ordinary in my skills on cooking.
