Winter is cold here (although not as cold as in some other countries or even the southern region known as Patagonia) and summer is too hot. I will have spring, thank you (even auttum is messed up! It's summer half of it, and winter the other half :S)

roger that, my southern hemisphere friends! Winter here in Rio is almost non-existent, but it is indeed a lot better - at least for me - than summer which is just too hot. However, this year we are having a very unsually cold winter - cold for us, cariocas. But just in the evening.

El Quia, you remind me of this poor exchanged student from Germany who choose South America because he wanted to live in a warm place and ended up in Chile up the Andes. He called many times complaining about it being far colder than his hometown, since there was no heat in his hostfamily's home. That's what one gets for not searching in the internet before travelling.

I remember a few times it was about -30°C and I was cycling to school (2.5 km) - I almost froze my fingers once. But in average the climate here is perfect for me.

It would be a long story taht would not interest anyone. But let it be say that all those sentiments are directed at my coworkers. the company, and the retarded politics, processes (or lack of them) and the treatment they give me.
