Not sure if I ever got around to showing this pic here so I may as well.
For those of you that haven't played it, it's from UFO Enemy Unknown.
I did colour it, but well...there's a lot of orange.

And yes, I forgot to add the floaty disk.
Shh you.

It's nto my best pic to date, but it's the only game related pic I've done, unless you count a few Discworld pics but they sucked anyway xD

Several years? Hmm perhaps a couple at most, I can't remember how long ago I drew this but I'm pretty sure it wasn't THAT far back o_O I remember looking at the fan art section on this site actually, which sparked up my interest in wanting to draw it. Someone else had done a soldier I think?

It shouldn't be on DA or the xcom forums though, as I don't have a da account that I use anymore nor have I ever been to the xcom forums, so if it can be found there it's probably stolen o_o
Unless you're thinking of Elfwood? As it's on my fanart section of my elfwood account but that's about it (Well, not counting my personal photobucket).

Well, I was thinking about something like two years ago too when I wrote that. It is however way too vague in my mind for me to really set a date.

Did you take another similar picture as reference when you did this?

No, I may have sneaked a peek at the research pics ingame, but it didn't occur to me that anyone else might have drawn ufo related fanart o_o
I was mostly recalling the nightmares I used to have when I was little and the black ones used to burst out of peoples stomachs xD Oh how the imagination can be so horrible.

Yes, I also seem to recall this one. Maybe you posted it a while ago in this same part of the forum? Anyway, why don't you post some more pics around here? Even if they are not art related, it would be nice to have the art section a bit alive again.

By the way, I like the shading on your pic. Nice!

Well I did draw it for abandonia so I guess it stands to reason I would have posted it...I just can't remember doing so whatsoever o_o

My personal artwork is taking a bit of a backseat to my 3d uni work at the moment though. It'd be nice to get back to my creative side, but I wont get any time to do so until after my uni deadline at the end of this month.
I was thinking of doing some more game fanart though. Maybe some Simon the sorcerer, legend of kyrandia and/or lands of lore related pieces n_n

For my project next year I'll (hopefully) be designing a character and level in 3d for a game (though it's very possible it will have to be spongebob related, but if not I'm hoping to do a Lands of lore themed character)
I was thinking of a story that could work for a Lands of Lore 4, with the character being Baccata's Sisters Son, an Alliance Politician for the King of Gladstone (after the ripping of the portals in number 3 I'd imagine new alliances were formed with gladstone, particularly the Dracoids) helping to rebuild Gladstone.
Anyway, if that does happen then there'll have to be plenty of concept art to back it up. So naturally you'll see more from me x]
