Hey Guys,
I have DOOM95 or what you can is the first part of DOOMI.
THe game was released way back in 1995 and since then it's been 9 years so I think the game
must have become an abandonware game at this time since I had received the game as freeware
(also written in game) and it came in original CD. The game is a good action packed game.
So if you want I can give you the game as email attachment.
But the problem I think is that it is a WIndow game. AS abandonia is for only DOS game so I
want to know if it can also support Windows game since DOOMI is in Windows platform while
DOOMII is in DOS platform? I don't know what it's creators have done. First part in Windows
and the second in DOS? If the reverse had happended then I could have understood that, but this
is something strange.

Well, if this game indeed became freeware, then it should be placed on Abandonia I think.
@Vipin - there was also a Windows version of Doom II released, but this doesn't mean that Doom is Windows-only game, because I happen to have Ms-Dos version of the game, the original one. So I could upload Doom if the Windows version wouldn't fit for this site.

The windows one is just dos with an opengl engine emplemented by fans im sure.

Doom 1 is a Dos game

His version is with a Windows-version .exe, which allows him to run the game in higher resolutions like 320x400 or 640x480, I believe. But originally this game is for Ms-Dos, that's right.

well all it is, is a windows launcher running of the original DOOM .WAD file. If my theory is right, all you need is to get the original doom.exe file and you are set.
