Caps are irrevelant, you made a typo, believe me.
[Edit]
And again : check FIRST whilst in windows, NOT in dosbox, be sure there are no spaces or so in your folder names.

[Edit²]
I may suppose you created c:\dos\cdrive ?

Yes, I did create c:\dos\cdrive. I did because I was going straight through the tutorial and doing everything it said to do.

Yes? It doesn't exist in windows, so you:
or made typos
or it doesn't exist in Windows and thus you can't mount it.
And you CD drive mount is also wrong.

It's:
mount d x:\ -t cdrom

Replace the X: with the real CD cdrive letter.

Just started looking into DOSBox because I was looking at downloading, and playing, Fallout.
Fallout had a Windows version.
Works fine under XP.
