It's not really a new feature and the characters don't all have intelligence... it's similar to things seen in many RPGs. Basically the characters are not static, so if you're there at the wrong time of a day you won't meet them, if you do one thing they'll react differently to you then if you do another thing and stuff like that.
It's kindda like saying the characters in It Came From the Desert were intelligent. It does add to the gameplay, but you can not really call it independent behavior of the characters (the feature was first implemented in a text based adventure The Hobbit - also available on the site). |
