If you liked the original UFO, you might give Terror From The Deep a try. More a remake than a sequel, and also a bit buggy, but definitely more challenging than UFO.
X-com Apocalypse and later X-com games just didn't interest me much. Why did they drop the turn-based combat system ? It was exactly this turn-based system that made UFO so unique, if you ask me. |

Wow, dog ear this thread. When I finally get time again (next summer) I'll have to try some of these out.
Ones that weren't mentioned (or did I miss them) are the other titles by the same team. Laser Squad and the more recent Laser Squad Nemesis. LSN changes the formua a bit, but it's not bad. |

LSN is really a great multiplayer game. I'm playing it myself, now in Elite but concentrating my games in competitions. Last time I checked, I was ranked 45th or something. k:
