I hope this is the right forum for this topic.

How does one earn pieces of eight?

I know that one can earn 5 POE for correctly answering the daily quiz and 1 POE for signing in daily but what are the rates of POE for contributions and how else can one earn Pieces of Eight?

I found this old long topic by doing a search http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=17808 and I skimmed through it (I did not want to read all 58 pages) but I didn't really find an answer.

There are many ways; writing reviews, supplying screenshots for said reviews, supplying games that are approved, working in Grammar and working as a translator.

All of these provide a lot more then the 6 PoE for the screenshot challenge and signing in.

That first link applies ONLY to the ezine. The second one might be partially correct, but IIRC we switched from a range of values to flat rate a while back (mostly because nobody could ever figure how exactly the higher/lower point rewards should be awarded).

I wonder why not all fellow updaters check the give statuspoint page after the update AS PART OF said update process.
