It was kind of... Didn't it mention something about that you are the unfortunate son of the creator of linc or something? Well, it get's a bit clearer after awhile... But I'm stuck.... I'm stuck and the elevator is not working, I got to go into the storage room, and took the key and the can, and I have given Lamb the sandwiche, but the man outside the storage room took the key and bottle.. I've cut the cable.. Anyone give me a friendly hint on where to go next?
Yes, it does tell you that, but actually that's a big fat spoiler. You're not supposed to know until about halfway through the game.

You will find a use for the lightbulb eventually, but not until fairly late in the game. Just hold on to it.

Have you managed to get the elevator working yet?

I got stuck in this game for one and a half year because I didn't decrypt something in the VR part (so I couldn't get past that damn eye).

Still have the headache after the forehead slapping I gave myself when I figured it out

I had this game on the Amiga with the 15 disks too. Excellent game but a nightmare with loading times.

One thing I dont get is which country this game is supposed to be set in. I always thought London as the accents are english and there are references to Hyde Park and the London Underground.

However the Intro that came with the PC version seems to say australia, and you actually get to see Foster hunting kangeroos.

And if you read about it onWikepedia it says that it is set in australia.

I dont know what to think, if any hardcore fans out there could shed any light on this....

Maybe they just decided to get rid of the Australian setting because after all, it is supposed to be SF... I bet the references to the tube and to Hyde Park just slipped in somehow.

Anyone ever considered both?

UK have a history of throwing their unwanted elements into Australia. The game is just a reference to that time. All the proper civilization is in the UK and all the outlaws, hillbillies and whatnots are in Australia.
