I've been buying games over Ebay during the last week - and they've been so cheap. Purchases so far: Shivers - $5.00; Zork Nemesis - $10.00; Gabriel Knight: Blood of the Dammed - $25.00.

I've played Zork Nemesis before and the graphics, movie sequences, and music are better than any game I've ever seen. And the gameplay is unbelievable. You really feel you're on the verge of discovering the great secret of the ages - the fifth element, or Philosophers Stone, which turns lead into gold and creates life. This is because the game actually contains and is based on many occult theories and secrets. It turns out that the fifth element is blood...or the energy that runs through blood - the emotions - especially the positive ones like love.

Heavy stuff, but when combined in the haunting story of Zork Nemesis it's the penultimate gaming experience.

Looking forward to experiencing Shivers and Gabriel Knight for the first time.

I bought Beyond good and Evil for 7,50 or so. It's awesome!

I recommend it to all people who like platform / sneaking / adventure games.

in september i bought a game collection called "the vault of darkness".
being a big fan of horror-games, i felt almost compelled to to get this one.

the box containes five games, american mcgee's alice, dungeon keeper 2
(not exactly a horror piece, though), dracula: resurrection, dracula: the last
sanctuary and...tataaa..one of my most favourite games: clive barker's undying.

alice and undying are third person shooters, the two dracula sequels are
adventure style and dungeon keeper is a real-time strategy game (at least i
would categorize it this way...)

although not being brand-new productions, this mixture means a lot of fun.
but in the first place, undying was most important reason for me to obtain this
package, having played this atmospherically very intense action game on my
friend's pc three years ago...and got totally addicted to it.

well, alice is sort of a twisted shooter, not really outstanding but it provided
some hours of solid fun.

dungeon keeper is nice, too. i like the idea of taking the role of a dungeon master
whose task is to battle against "good" heroes, that try to beat your minions and
solve your dungeon's puzzels - instead of the other way round, like we are used
to in RPGs and such.

the dracula adventures have good graphics, as far as i had a look on them. but
as i'm busied playing other games at the moment, i've only had a brief impression
of those two games...

all in all, this collection is quite worth its money (bought it during holidays in NYC
for about 20$, which is ok for me...)

I bought Rome: Total War last week and got totally engrossed in that over this weekend, at the expense of other stuff I should have been doing. I'm getting Myst 4: Revelation for Christmas, so that should keep me busy too. And I'm still only about half way through Doom 3.

My latest games are Doom3, Half Life 2, Rome: Total War and Max Payne 1+2. I like them all. No idea what I am going to get next. I am looking fore-ward to Men of Iron 2 coming out this January.

I bought Myst IV a few weeks ago, its an amazing game, too bad it doesn't run very well on my computer.

My brother also bought Halo 2 for Xbox which is loads of fun and Half Life 2 for PC.
I tried to install Half Life 2 (eventhough it probably wouldn't work on my computer) but it seems there is something wrong with the disc.
