I'm trying to figure out what a game was called, however I don't have any screenshots...

It was somewhat like Decent in that you flew around corridors and shot lasers at things, thats where the similarity ends however, because this game ran at a much lower screen resolution and didn't have textures, just shaded polygons.

Does anyone know of a game like that?

I'm not sure what game that is, but just wanted to note that the first Descent had the only resolution of 320x200, thus your game can't have lower resolution than this, there doesn't exist any lower resolution except on ancient CGA graphic cards.

No, I don't think so, Corridor 7 isn't based around a flying ship, which is what you play as. And you can't move in any direction :P

But hey, I could just be crazy...

Hell, that does sound like it! Although as you said it has textures, and was released several years after I played this game.

Anyhow, I'll take a look at that some day, it sounds interesting (despite the review titled "A horrible, horrible game").

LOL

I played it for a few times when it was new, it wasn't that horrible,
but on the other hand I'm no fan of Descent-like games at all. Give it a try and have fun!

We don't know if it's the game he was searching for...so moved from FoN into "Unknown game threads" subforum.

Default Fury 3

Could the game you are searching for maybe be fury 3? or perhaps even an earlier version? It's very simular to descent

Probably not. Fury³ is a standalone game (there is no Fury 1 or 2) and is based on Terminal Velocity, which makes heavy use of textures itself.
