If you tried a tycoon game it's like you tried them all, but the rest of the simulation games are sometimes very good. Look at F-22 Total Air War for instance.

Abi, now you've done it LOL
Now I have got to go ahead and install that game again, and have it eat away at my precious time :P

Heh, love that game. Accesible and extensive.

But at any rate, I voted way back, but apparantly I didn't post, so here goes:
I love simulation games. They are amongst the most immersive or rewarding there are.

I like all simulation games, cause they're also a bit educational in the aspect. No matter how complicated the subject of the game (If the game is made right), you can learn it well.

A few simulation games i've enjoyed playing have to be the Simcity series, The Sims 1-2, Civilization series, EWR (Wrestling promotion sim), and a bunch of others.

I don't like realistic simulations, like Busines-Sims or Flight-sims and this stuff.

What I really like are sci-fi simulations, especially those about commanding a huge spaceship, like Star Trek: Bridge Commander, Battlecruiser 3000AD (or whatever its name was) and Rules of Engagement.

Or those that try to simulate something as if it was real, like flying a "real" UFO.

I dont like pure simulations, because they never have a story. Flying one mission after another is just boring.
Eurofighter Typhoon made it a little bit better with alternative WW3 scenario. After retreating back on Island you have to fly missions agaisnt the bad russians

All the Sim Cities are awesome. I had fun with Sim Farm at school on an OLD PC. Sim ant was awesome too, Sim earth wasn't too good. All Game genres are cool and most people don't like Simulations because it takes some brains and repition.
