Default Expack2's De-Make Thread

One of my favorite side-hobbies is de-making images from modern video games into various color palates from various systems, such as the 32-color mode from the Commodore Amiga, or the ever-so-popular 8-bit VGA color palate! Note that these photos were never intended to be shared, so I sometimes get the actual color palate I used wrong; therefore, don't hesitate to speak up! [EDIT: This isn't one of those "Gawk at pictures in main thread and comment on them in another thread" deals, so let loose the comments, positive and negative!]

For starters, here's a screenshot from Metro: Last Light (see original) converted into the Amiga's 32-color palate:

A MobyGames screenshot from Burnout: Paradise converted into the Amiga's 32-color palate:

A screenshot from Trackmania 2: Canyon (see original) converted into the Mac 8-bit color palate:

A screenshot from Shift 2 Unleashed (see original) converted into the Windows 8-bit color palate:

Default Adventures in the Last Light

Some screenshots from Metro: Last Light (see originals here, here, here, and here).

The world of Metro in Amiga's 32-color mode:

Now, a screen shot from the world of Metro in Windows' 8-bit palate:

Default Red Orchestra 2 Retro

Here's a collection of screenshots from the upcoming game Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad which I de-made:

A square of some kind (see original) in the Amiga's 32-color mode:

A two-man squad firing at an off-screen target (see original); also in the Amiga's 32-color mode:

A beautiful scene featuring god rays and a battle-in-progress (see original) rendered in the Amiga's 128-color mode:

Lastly, here's a scene inside a tank (see original) which, for whatever reason, reminds me of a Macromedia/Quicktime game; as such, it's rendered in the Macintosh's 8-bit color palate:

Nice, but aren't they a little too high-res for the system the edits are supposed to emulate?

They're indeed nice.

Just one remark, seems dropbox is extremely slow here, don't really know why, but maybe, if you post a lot of pics in one topic you could use thumbnails?

Just asking, maybe things will speed up later?

[Edit]
Never mind that thumbnail thing, speed is OK now.

For the Amiga 32-color screenshots, you'd be right - they are too big! Thankfully, it's an issue which is easily rectified. However, I'm not so sure about the Amiga 128-color mode, as I'm not familiar with any games which use it and what the supported resolutions of said games is...

Default Batman: Arkham Asylum

For my next batch of de-makes, here are some screenshots from Batman: Arkham Asylum:

Batman taking down a foe in the Amiga's 32-color mode (original):

The back alley of a city (presumably Gotham City) in EGA (original):

And here's Batman striking a pose with his Batarang in the Amiga's 32-color mode (original):

Default Section 8: Prejudice

Here are some (strangely) good-looking de-made screenshots from Section 8: Prejudice which use Windows' 8-bit color palate and letterboxed since, to my knowledge, there were no 16:9 or 16:10 monitors available to the consumer in the days of Windows 3.x and Windows 95. (See originals here, here, and here)
