The sluggish speed may come out of 2 reasons:
1. It is too slow because it's too fast (yes I know that's funny (what was the word for it again...), but that could be the problem). Here you can get Slowdown for Windows: http://newton.pbk-solutions.de/ncu_nbu/slowdown.htm 2. The sound card settings are wrong, game is trying to get output from sound card which is not there, thus slowing the game down, try playing without sound, when it is faster again, reconfigure sound settings in other way with install.exe |

Moslo is good if you use Windows 95/98 and ME I believe. I used to have Windows 95 and was addicted to Moslo Deluxe.. alas I'm not sure where I stuck it in the mass amount of programs I've collected over the 16 years (I'm 21 now) of hoarding my collection of games and stuff.

IMPORTANT
The game runs slowly because of your video card.At least this was my case.I changed my video card to S3 8) , and then the game worked perfectly.Too bad it didn't cought my eye |

funny, i thought my vidoe card is fine.. i currently use ati radeon 9200 128Mb which definitly fits for almost any games.. i guess it's just the way origin made the games.. i think freefreddy mention it before.. about the memory usage or something like that..

Hmm, It's interesting that you say Dosbox didn't work for you as mine worked with no problems. Have you got the latest dosbox? It's at version 0.61 now. Also you can try playing with dosbox's setting in the dosbox.conf file. There's loads there that you can turn on and off (like you had to turn off ems memory for Ultima 7) so maybe changing something there might help. Also make sure that you run the Ultima 6 install/setup first as this also creates a new character (it asks first) for you.
