I probably won't be doing that. I can imagine my parents' reaction when I start receiving postcards from people on a forum which they think I spend far to much time on anyway Maybe at a later date though.

Somebody mentioned I could maybe send postcards - I know it would be interesting to get one from DR Congo - BUT
1. post office here is hopeless 2. no stamps are available 3. only diplomatic mail and DHL are available To do a postcard with Kinshasa would mean the use of camera. Unfortunatelly, no luck with that one too. If spotted by a police or military, the use of camera can put you to jail - kind of trying to avoid that experience. I did take a few photos of Kinshasa from a building where I used to live - with throw away camera (really bad quality) - and if you're interested I can scan and post them on the site upon my return to Zagreb. Sorry, no mail from here. :bye: |
