a friend of mine used to have it, the game is great and sadly not known.
developed by Argonaut Software in the year 1997
i assume its abandonware since the company doesn't exist anymore.

i found a corrupted version on HOTU so i was hoping to find an ISO of it here, or if someone knows where they still sell it.

thanks in advance for your help!

I found some info on Alien Odyssey.

According to our Oldwarez List it's abandonware but it's not yet reviewed or hosted here.

I was going to upload and review it but with the video sequences it has it is too big to host on this site. I'll see if I can reduce the size somehow. I don't think skipping the video is an option, though, as it is crucial to progressing in the game.

Correct. There is no effective size limit for games in ISO Cellar.

I know, but to be honest I am not sure how I feel about the ISO celler. It isn't that I want to deprive anyone the chance to play the game but I do have a problem with the hosting site profiting off my investment in my game collection without it being a mutually beneficial arrangement. Creating an ISO and uploading it is a time consuming process. Hours and hours for most games. I just don't have that much time to help someone else make a profit from it.

At Abandonia I am happy to give as I also get a lot of value from being a contributer. Also, Abandonia is more of a closed environment because the link can always be removed if the game's status should change. As a software developer I have great respect for the stance that Abandonia takes in that regard. If Abandonia were hosting the ISO I would be more inclined to go to the trouble.

I am more in favor of supplying ISOs to Abandonia for hosting in the VIP section. And yes, I know, people can always download it from there and upload it again to any number of ISO hosting sites ... on their time.

Sorry didn't mean to hijack someone else's thread.

I don't quite get your point.
The ISO cellar isn't open to the public. You have to be a member and there's a precondition you have to fulfill before you can access it. Or maybe I didn't understand you at all...

My understanding is that the ISO cellar is a collection of links to other for-profit sites that are generally available to the public. You only have to be a member here to have access to the links that have been supplied. I thought that to have a game be available in the ISO cellar you have to upload the ISO to one of those other hosting sites and then create the link to it from here. Am I wrong?
