Look, DisposableSaint, what makes me wonder is this: You really don't know what a RAR archive is? A ZIP? 7z? They're archives that need to be unpacked, using either WinRar, WinZip or a similar programs. A RAR file is not the game itself but a compressed archive with the game files inside.
Un-rar the archive into a properly named game folder in your "fake C: hdd" folder.
