:eeeeeh: Hmm, yes, but I also happen to have 858 posts in the grammar section (that's my most active section, in fact, not the off-topic one). It's not my fault that postcount hasn't been disabled there, and I couldn't care less if it were, really.

Anyway, I prefer Abandonia, because I'm usually more interested in reading the reviews and looking at the screenshots than in downloading the games. More often than not the Abandonia review gives you a better idea of what the game is actually like. Obviously HOTU is at a slight disadvantage there, because it has so many games the reviews couldn't possibly all be as detailed as the ones on Abandonia. Especially since Underdogs herself seems to be writing most of them. I like their producers section and the 'random game' option, though.

as for hotu,it exists more or less as a legend.i say the site.design hasnt changed for years(its inspired by gamespot,but its not the matter here)but it still looks impressive.forum is just your average abandonware forum with its small community-and i dont expect any revolutions;how to push forward things that cant be pushed-refresh design?add nu smilies?everything depends on users and the atmosphere they create

[+] LOTS of games, ESA included

[+] Has some rare gems in its collection

[+] Good navigating system (genres, searching, alphabetic etc feels good)
[+] Professional feel

[-] The updating seems to be at hold
[-] The forum is boring
[-] Slow downloading speeds



Seems like both sites have got some advantages and soms disadvantages. But because of the forum and the daily updates I keep on visiting Abandonia, while I only have to visit HOTU once or twice a month. But I really don't wish to choose between these sites, I'll take 'em both and I'm very happy with it

That's not quite what I meant. But there is for example the off-topic section, much of which is just general chit-chat, and the games section.

As for your next important question, well, there's about as many girls as you might expect at a place dedicated to computer games. We're a minority, obviously.
