Thank you very much k: I ran tyrian under dosbox, instead opf trying to run it with vdmsound, and I still get sound .

I would also like to say this game is awesome, and the music is spectacular .

Why is there no multiplayer mark in the game review? :wallbash:

Is there a possibility to destroy the large ships which fill half of the screen and can fire on you too in Episode 3? Otherwise it wouldn't say that I only destroyed 20% or so I suppose...

Hey old guys! Can anyone of you put the multiplayer mark on the review?!

I like this game and raptor equally.

But my favorite combo is the lightning guns, rear sonic (which I have fire forward), and twin plasma sidekicks. But I also like to have some fun with the micro missle sidekicks too. Those things are funny to shoot off, zillions of little missiles pounding on everything on the entire screen is a hoot.

Oh yea, and I like either the freeze ray or the light of zilfen major power.

Ahh! One of the best games I've played....

IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!

You have to ways of playing this game:

1) Without reading the plot.
2) Reading the plot.

If you are lazy and use 1, you just see a very good space shooter with great graphics, sound and weapons. And you will leave it.

If you use 2....

You will be playing it FOREVER!!!

You'll get so involved that the levels will just be an excuse to read how the story continues...

I hope one day someone notice that this game could be a great movie or a new generation rpg game!!! with you playing as Trent through missions in all the planets, with the spirit of Zinglon around and Vikromod (project) at your back!!!

You can buy it when you get into one of the secret levels, I think.
It's not that much powerful, really.

Tyrian was one of my favorites when I first played it in junior high. I had a demo copy, and I was crazy about it. For years I couldn't locate the game, though, as its title had given my mind the slip. I am so happy to be reintroduced to it! ...But it seems like I was a lot better at Tyrian as a 12-year old. <_<

Okay...I'm lost. I have DOSbox and tyrian 2000 set up on my PC, and the details are set to high, but the game runs at about half-speed with no sound. So...how do I even run tyrian through DOSbox (I'm kinda dumb...I know ), and how do I get the sound back?
