Sounds good, and quite understandable.

Is it possible to have a tracker and to be seed of all the stuff that is here at once? Or does the seeding needs to be somwhere else, like on another server? Torrent files are dying if noone cares about them, so there MUST be a big seeding server with all of the stuff we would like to give to poeple - here comes back the problem about bandwidth and space for the games ...

Hi, bob-satan. I guess I'm not quite following your question. Anyone can seed a torrent, including the machine/user that is running a tracker.

The reason I suggested doing a private tracker is partly to avoid the situation of seedless torrents. If there's some kind of share:leech ratio enforcement, it promotes leaving game torrents seeding in the background--and helps reduce the number of abandoned torrents.

Did any admins come to a decision about this? I know it'd be a rather difficult undertaking, but I think it'd be worth it--just to see the larger/cdrom games shared with a wider group of people.

Kosta will be around in early October. He's the only person with the authority to decide on this matter - regardless how much power us admins might wield around the site and forum, this kind of thing is beyond our right to decide.
