Script-wise you might be right (although I still think it's just not fluently enough done), but the acting wasn't anything like it to me.

I agree that Mike Hammond isn't that much of an actor either, but at least he didn't try to act an attitude, he just remained a plain character. Han Solo's charisma however made up for this, and every main character had it's own oddities.

In these three episodes, no one really has any humorous oddities (note that I'm completely ignoring that Jar Jar character at this point), I just think it's less charming and it kinda makes the humor in the battles (those cute but silly droids for instance) seem out of place.

I've still enjoyed them quite a lot though, but these are about my major points of critisism towards SW 1-3.
