Well worth tracking down though. It's rare as hell here in the UK (and the only existing patch DOESN'T WORK ON THE UK VERSION!), but I finally found a copy a few months ago.

It's awesome. While I do enjoy the slide-show style of the original, being able to really explore those worlds (which now look even better, of course) is just a jaw-dropping experience.

Find it. Buy it. Love it.

ive bought the older myst masterpiece edition.

im bidding for real myst on ebay, and have a max bid of ?30 (in case anyone is going to bid against me and im not bidding any higher. i doubt im going to win it

Real Myst is definitely abandoned. People are selling copies of it for about $70 at Amazon, and some oddballs are actually buying them. Scary.
