So how many people still play this classic? I haven't played it in ages so I decided that I'd go back and give it a try, see if I'm still any good with my old favorite - Gnome Thief, what are you're favorite? And what interesting games stories to do you have?

I planned to start playing it, but never actually did since IK have so many games in my closet that I haven't played yet

Can you compare it to ADOM in some way or is it more a Moria-like-dungeon-hack? I like dungeon hacks...

Ah I have never really played ADOM or Moria, maybe I should give them a try. But either way, I'm trying to get better at being an Elf Wizard. Anyone have favorites?

Attempting a Gnome Archaeologist, but seems a little bit tough. How do you understand whats written in the dust? I've heard that different words do different effects, such as protect you while you rest, etc..

http://www.nethack.org I recommend playing the Windows graphics version first because the ASCII one takes a while to understand what all the symbols mean. :bleh:

Any way to call your pet to you? I still haven't figured out how to order it around.. Always seem to leave it behind somewhere between levels.
