I have the same problem with Alone in the Dark 2 and 3.
The game runs well with VDMSound, with the exception of the music not playing.
I tried Dosbox too, of course, but I had the same problem there, and the game had other issues with running on dosbox too.

When you run the setup file for the game, in the hardware options menu it says "No FM sound card avilable", which appears to be the source of the problem.
There must be a way around this.

I thought the fact these games are cracked might be the case, but I have the original CD version of AITD3, and I still can't get it to run with music.

I will appreciate it if you can help me.
