I remember this game. I played it years ago, never managed to finish it though. The game is based on the legend of Sun Wukong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Wukong). As a child I owned the comic books (about 10 or 12 books, IIRC). I think I still have them lying somewhere. I missed the 1980s movie adaptation, but managed to watch 2 very loosely 1990s movie adaptation starring Stephen Chow. Television series are still played now and then, but I do not watch them anymore.
Anyway, good game. In the screenshot it is shown that Zhu Bajie beats Sun Wukong in vs mode. Well, that will never happen in the fiction |

This game is a pure find. Me and my brother used to play this in our younger years, co-oping through most of the levels bashing bosses and mobs like there was no tomorrow!
West is a pure sidescrolling adventure high, and shouldn't be missed for all that's sacred, holy or chinese in this world. -bakkelun The DOS Spirit www.dosspirit.net |

Well from our perspective it's happening in the east, but then again, it was the easterns who made it. And it's about people from the east who are going towards west while still remaining east of us westerns. :bleh:
