Hi,
Well, my problem is very elementary and/or stupid:
It is not game problem.
OK.
Windows XP. Word 2007.

When I try to use (very often) Format Painter, it is like brush,:
I push on the brush symbol and till I reach the word, the brush disappeared.
OK. I push on 2-3 times. Same result!
So, I am forced to press mouse button many times like idiot..

Strange, I have no such problem on Windows 7 Ultimate in same PC and in the other 3 PC.

No, no I do not like to reinstall Office 2007 again and again.
Some years ago I was hit by some worm and was forced to install Office 2003 one month every day twice. ..((

Does it help if you hold that mouse button pressed after you click on the brush, until you reach that word?

Rats!
Sadly, no, Scatty.
I tried with:
- pressed left mouse button on the brush
- pressed right mouse button on the brush
- 2 times right pressed mouse button on the brush button
- 2 times left pressed mouse button on the brush button
When I started this action,
I click with one of two MB on the brush button and try to drag to the word-
the mouse takes the shape of empty arrow, brush shape disappears and nothing happens.
Maybe I will start another solution:
I will use Writer 3.2 ( I have it) for the working files. Then I will Save As in .doc files ready ones. The only small problem will be little more formatting work because Word is doesn’t correct when accepts Writer files. So I will solve the problem.
Ox, this is a little confusing for non experts. Sorry.
BTW, I, even working many years with Word, like much more Writer. For me Writer has only one missing function, which Word has:
When one marks a word, with repeatedly pressed button F3, the word changed as Word, WORD, word and again.
