oh well...windows will always be windows. Newer versions repair the problems of older version and create new problems ( and for that reason you always have to get the next newer version... good policy :P )

As I had suspected it had something to do with the graphics
I simply turned down some of the options and its works great now. And to all those who are critisizing windows I repeat: It works great  |

I do not critisize winXP. In fact i believe that they are the best windows version ever. Its just that their problems came from a very simple factor. If they runned on standard configuration machines without the open-architecture of the PCs they would be without any problems. But they are not. They run on PCs with 1.000.000 ( and maybe more :P ) different configurations ( software and hardware ). So it is expected that they will have problems. Problems with certain hardware, problems with certain software. Anyway. I suppose we got a bit off topic

NOw I think the crashes have to do with CPU speed, not WindowsXP. I slowed down my CPU speed and Ignition doesn't crash anymore

A game made for the Win-9X-core running on a Win-NT-core... sais it all...
Both Win NT5 and NT6 are realy stable cores, but at a cost of compability.. Win-ME is somewhat good for gaming and marginaly more stable then the win98 release, but still.. it's a Win-9X-core with SOME elements of the NT-core...

Hmmm... I'm getting it now, but its a bit big. For my 56k anyway. I've been wondering for awhile now...:
To make a really small file: Make an install of it. Zip the install. Make an install of the zip. Zi that install. Etc. Would that work. |

Would not work really, because you cannot compress compressed file any further, so it will become as a result even larger. 8)
