Lemmings!
Who likes Lemmings, Oh No! More Lemmings, Lemmings 2, 3, 3D, or Revolution (besides me)?

Probably a lot of people.
However, once they became 3D I lost interest.

I honestly never understood the point in saving these critters. Is there a game where you can kill them instead ?

You can kill them in all lemmings games Heck, you can find dozens of ways to make them perish
But yeah, I love the critters. It was one of those games which got passed around schools. I must admit I never actually played the Lemmings games that much (except for Lemmings 3D) because I often started to get bored of trying again and again on the tougher levels but now that I'm older, levels are a lot easier than back when I was 14. |

I loved Lemmings, Oh No! More Lemmings and Lemmings 2. The original game was the first time that I ever forgot to go to sleep and kept playing the whole night.
Lemmings 2 added nice variety and had great animations (and one of my favourite intro tunes). Lemmings 3? Meh. The picking up skills and those being available to a single lemming only changed the gameplay in such a fundamental way that it stopped being fun to me. Lemmings 3D? Never tried it. Lemmings Revolution? Presently on my extremely large pile of "games I've bought but not played yet". Looks good, with a return to the classic gameplay. I may need to sacrifice a few nights' rest to investigate. |

I love them Lemmings games. Hell, I love them so much I even used to customize my character in Soldat to resemble one (...a lemming).

(But WHY would you want to harm poor helpless little walking creatures with green hair? ) In fact, my dad and I used to have "wars" where my dad would attempt to wrest control of the mouse and kill as many lemmings as he could(like having them dig through the bottom of the level), while my job was to retain mouse control and save the Lemmings!
