A while ago I saw the first Half-Life in stores and I was wondering if it'd work in my computer, because the system specs were relatively close to mine. Because there are so many people playing Half-Life, I figured at least one of you should know.

Here are my specs:

Dell Dimension
Pentium II
350MHZ Processor
16 MB graphics card
Montego sound card (100% Soundblaster compatible)

Half-life? The first one? Of course it will work on your computer. It worked on mine, and it had 266mhz and 8MB Voodoo 2. k:

Don't forget to also get the other addons. Opposing Force for example is very interesting, believe me.

There atleast WAS a bundle pack that had half-life, opposing force, blue shift and a bit out of date counterstrike at one package. I got one, and it kicks behind.

Blue shift is far better and more interesting.

I bought only half-life, installed steam, entered my cd key, and I could download counter strike, day of defeat, opposing force, blue shift, team fortress, ricochet and codename gordon for free with steam, so if you've got a fast connection, try that.

Not really.
Blue Shift was way too short and didn't offer any new weapons or enemies like Opposing Force did.

Blue Shift was way too short and didn't offer any new weapons or enemies like Opposing Force did.
