So they don't update very often, what a crap site.

I tried visiting that site last night. Sure, a lot of games, but there were annoying pop-ups everywhere, and as someone mentioned, it was slooow to navigate on.

... plus, they didn't have the nonexistant free complete version Quake :not_ok:.

I don't think it was really an update, more of just like, a sympathy for what happened
I can understand why.

Miss Underdogs LIVE in the tsunami area, and was affected by it (like anyone else over there). In the time after she has been busy coping with the disaster, and the abundance of e-mails from concerned net-people, job, fan-post, technical issues (hack-attack to name some)... then a second tsunami hit... back to the beginning.

The news item you mention was a thank you message from her to all those who gave her of their love in a time when she needed it the most.

Only now has she been able to place an update. I respect that woman with all my soul.

I love both sites myself, and don't see you as rivals really as much as siblings who fight a lot.

Do you only care for games?! She went through a bad time in her life, and wanted to thank people for their hopes and wishes regarding her safety, and comfort that they showed her...

...and you are upset because she didn't place a game for download?!

I never fight with HOTU. In fact I strike down harshly on those who say bad things about the site.

that does exactly express my opinion!

although i can understand why some ppl are considering HotU to be competition,
this is no serious reasoning, imo. it's like comparing two car companies... both
are producing vehicles, but each of 'em has its own style and offers its own range
of services.

it simply depends on your taste, which one suits your needs, as long as the urge
to play good games is being satisfied. although personally, i prefer abandonia
(that's the reason why i'm here, isn't it ) i think HotU deserves a huge amount
of respect, and i'm looking forward to see what their site update will be resulting
in.

about us being rivals... well, I jsut like using loud words (like that stuff about doom) :Titan: , but don't actualy back them with their meaning. In fact I came here from HOTU, and I realy like that site. BTW I don't see their navigation as slow, if anything it's a wee bit more eficient (with all the extra options).
