i once went to an Atreyu concert and they were back up, they were pretty good, but the only song of theirs i have heard is nightmare

At first I was like, "Oh damn, this is gonna suck." Then I had to listen to it since my band wanted me to cover a few of their songs on vocals and so I downloaded Nightmare and City of Evil and then I was all like, "Oh damn, this is actually pretty good."

my wife roped me into Avenged, they're her fave band, and i went to a concert of theirs 2 years ago and ever since then i've been hooked :3

A7X is great, City of Evil and their self-titled 2007 album are by far the best.
As for Nightmare, Mike Portnoy is sick on the drums! I'd say he's been really helpful to them and is probably the best possible replacement for the Rev. He's permanently part of the band now.
